The Department of Education (DepEd) has officially launched the adjusted K to 10 curriculum after two years of meticulous evaluation. The new curriculum, referred to as the "Matatag Curriculum," aims to address issues from the previous system, including content congestion.
In this new curriculum, which will be implemented from kindergarten to Grade 10, DepEd's objective is to tackle the problems that existed in the past educational system. One notable change is the removal of "Mother Tongue" as a subject across all grade levels. Instead, it will be utilized as the medium of instruction.
